Beshear to honor fallen police officers next week
Gov. Steve Beshear is set to honor fallen law enforcement officers in Kentucky.

Kentucky courthouses will close for three furlough days in 2012 to cut costs
FRANKFORT — Kentucky court workers will be furloughed three days this year, closing courthouses statewide on Aug. 6, Sept. 4 and Oct. 15, Chief Justice John D. Minton said Wednesday.

Kentucky legislature's special session one and done
FRANKFORT — The 2012 special session came and went this past week, as both chambers were able to approve both a budget for Kentucky’s transportation needs and legislation to combat so-called “pill mills” in the commonwealth.
